XOYO 1st Birthday (Part 1)

XOYO reach their first birthday in September and have a very special line up to celebrate it. Jamie xx is not stranger to the venue having played b2b with Oneman at a FACT party back in April. He has really shifted from being best known for his work in The xx to being a producer in his own right with remixes for Adele, Glasser and Florence and also his collaboration with Gil-Scott Heron. Tonight he meets another legend – one of Chicago house’s most celebrated artists. Heard, now Memphis based, led the influential group Fingers Inc. and also released some of house music’s most revered tracks as Mr Fingers – Washing Machine and Can You Feel It amongst them. There is nearly 30 years between these two artists and we anticipate a night of incredible house music that will span the decades.
